• Autonomous mobile robot Advee - Bender Robotics s.r.o.

  

  We're proud to be a part of the Bender Robotics team. The first product of our company is the great presentational/advertising robot Advee, an award-winning advertising medium.

  Its top design suitable even for the most modern and luxury interiors was done by Martin Tvaruzek, one of the best industry designers in the Czech Republic.

  Our role: HW design, low- and middle-level SW development
   

• LCM - Lightweight Communications and Marshalling

  LCM is a set of inter-process communication (IPC) tools developed originally by the MIT DARPA Urban Challenge Team for their autonomous vehicle Talos. LCM is composed of three main functional blocks: message definition (using a C-like definition language that can be compiled into language-native message support files using the lcm-gen tool), message marshalling/un-marshalling (conversion between native and byte representation with defined endianness and runtime type safety checking) and communication itself (mainly based on UDP multicast).

  There is now a binding for C/C++, Java, Python, MATLAB and C# which makes it extremely flexible.

  Our role: Jan maintains the C# port and experiments with LCM on microcontrollers/UART
   

• Brno Youth Symphony Orchestra

  

  Music is our passion. We've already played solo and as members of various ansambles from two to two hundred people :-). You can find some recordings on Jan's and Radek's YouTube profile.

  One of the biggest things a musician can experience is certainly playing in a symphony orchestra. Such an opportunity for young amateurs players is granted by the BYSO. Check out the videos on our YT profiles and BYSO site!
